National Day of Prayer Service May 1
United Church of Shirley, 4 Lancaster Road, 8-8 p.m.
Please join us as we gather in prayer and song for America, whose Pledge of Allegiance recounts that we are “One Nation, under God” and whose currency states that it is “in God we trust.” We want Americans to encounter the God who rules over their country. He is the One who gave us this promise in 2 Chronicles 7:14: “If my people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and will heal their land.” As we encounter Him, we will be changed and will change America through prayer.
