GROTON — To date, 91 items and services have been generously donated to the First Parish Goods and Services Auction, a fundraiser for First Parish Church, Unitarian Universalist.

Build your own Shaker-style end table with Peter Benedict in his studio. Spend a weekend in Boothbay Harbor, Maine. Book The Powderhouse Gang to sing at your next gathering. Add an antique bed or hutch to your home furnishings, or enjoy a fabulous night at the theatre, an original work of art, or those long-awaited music lessons.

They’re all on the block with many other fantastic offerings at First Parish Church of Groton’s Goods and Services Auction, Saturday, Nov. 2, at First Parish Church, Unitarian Universalist, 1 Powderhouse Road. Doors will open at 6 p.m. with a silent auction followed by a live auction. Admission is free.

Enjoy an evening of wine, hors d’oeuvres, laughter and goodwill and discover a rich array of local goods and services, all while supporting First Parish’s good works in Groton and beyond. First Parish Church of Groton is a Unitarian Universalist welcoming community of adults, youth and children seeking to deepen spiritually, to take care of one another and to be a blessing to the world.

It’s not too late to donate goods and services to auction! Contact Donna Nowak at, or June Adams Johnson at
