SHIRLEY — The Friends of Hazen Memorial Library will hold it 10th Annual Holiday Fair and Cookie Sale on Saturday, Nov. 2, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Admission is free. The fair is the Friends biggest fundraiser of the year. All of the funds raised allow the Friends to sponsor programs and museum passes.

The following vendors are participating, including crafters and home party companies. Check the calendar on our website at www.shirleylibrary.org for updates.

* Bethany Bee Apiary, offering local honey and homemade beeswax skin care and home products; candles, votives, gift baskets, favors and gift ideas.

* Karon’s Kozies will keep you warm all winter with cozy blankets in many patterns and colors, for little kids to the big kid in all of us.

* Silpada Designs: See the difference in their handcrafted sterling silver jewelry. Six to eight artisans create each piece, making the jewelry true works of art. You will find must-haves, statement pieces and everyday glamour.

* Barefoot Books has carefully crafted children’s books, children’s CDs and children’s gifts that spark imagination, exploration and creativity.

* Sharon’s Treasures will have Ty Beanie Babies for sale — always a hit with the younger set.

* The Pampered Chef makes working in the kitchen a breeze with gourmet kitchen tools, stoneware, cookbooks and cutlery.

* Bright Light Accessories will have handmade handbags, crayon carriers, tooth fairy pillows, cell phone and cosmetic cases.

* Mary Kay: A trusted global name in skin care, makeup and body care offers the latest in beauty advice and makeup trends to help you look your best.

* Tupperware — a leader in food preparation and storage ideas for the kitchen.

* Gloria Tompkinson crafts — sewn totes, purses, bibs, aprons for adults and children, covers for books, checkbooks, tissues and tissue box covers, embellished frames and boxes.

* Falling Leaves Farm will have handmade wreaths, felted hats, quilted/appliqued table runners and tree skirts, pet and people Christmas stockings, fabric pumpkins and handmade cards.

* Bags by Leslie will have hand-crafted quilted bags and totes suitable for everyday or something special.

* United Church of Shirley will be selling raffle tickets for a chance to win one of their themed gift baskets.

* Origami Owl Custom Lockets: Create your own living locket by choosing the charms that best tell your story or represent the things that are important to you.

The Holiday Fair is a chance to purchase artisan wares, home essentials and unique gift items — plus the opportunity to take home a holiday inspired “tin” filled with your choice of hundreds of homemade cookies, generously baked by over 40 local residents for just $10 (same price for four years!) No need to bake for the holidays!
