Green Screen portraits and a food drive for Loaves & Fishes

PUBLISHED: | UPDATED:

SHIRLEY — St. Anthony’s Church and Photo Op Photography invite all trick-or-treaters for a free “spooky” portrait at St. Anthony’s Church on Halloween night, Oct. 31, from 5:30-9 p.m., weather permitting.

Shirley resident Todd Maki of Photo Op Photography in Ayer will be taking fun green-screen-style portraits for any one that dares.

“Halloween is my favorite holiday and Shirley’s trick-or-treating in the ‘Village’ is an event in itself,” said Maki. “It’s also a great opportunity to help give back to our community. In exchange for (not required) the free portrait, a canned good or nonperishable food item is requested to be donated to Loaves & Fishes on Devens. Please visit the Loaves & Fishes website to see what items are needed presently.”

All donations will be collected at the photo shoot.

“Photo Op has worked with Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny to benefit the Ayer-Shirley Schools,” said Maki, “and hopes all of the zombies, witches and goblins find their way to help out this Halloween.”
