GROTON — The Town Meeting Review Study Committee will hold a public hearing Tuesday, Sept. 17, in the Groton Town Hall first floor meeting room.
The hearing is to solicit comments and ideas from the public as to how Town Meeting can be made more inclusive, more accessible and more interesting (so as to increase participation).
We anticipate incorporating ideas garnered from the public, both at the public hearing and from the town-wide survey, with research committee members have performed into a report to the selectmen.
The report will be aimed at providing suggestions on how participation can be increased and the meeting itself made more interesting and inclusive.
