TOWNSEND — The “Singing Trooper,” Dan Clark, will perform at the Meeting Hall in Townsend on Tuesday, Sept. 10. The Friends of the Townsend Seniors are co-hosting this special program with the Lunenburg Friendly Seniors.

Dan performed in uniform while a 20-year member of the Massachusetts State Police. He has wowed audiences singing with the Boston Pops and performed the national anthem for the Patriots, Red Sox, Bruins and Celtics.

Now retired, but still known as the “Singing Trooper,” Dan is popular with groups all across the country. The two Friends groups are delighted to have him performing in Townsend.

The Meeting Hall is at 12 Dudley Road, in the Library and Senior Center complex, just off Route 13. The doors open at 1 p.m. and the program begins at 1:30.

This is free and open to the public; however, a sign-up call to the Senior Center is requested at 978 597-1710.
