GROTON — The Groton Historical Society will kick off an exciting weekend of Grotonfest events starting with an auction of wonderful antiques, uniques, services and surprises on Friday, Sept. 20, at the Groton Country Club.
A preview and silent auction will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m., with the live auction starting directly after. Tickets for admission are $20 and include a large selection of hors d’oeuvres and desserts. The society has already received some wonderful donations, but in order to make this truly a successful fundraising to preserve Groton history, more is needed.
