TOWNSEND — Gentle Yoga begins again Sept. 19, at 1:30 p.m. Instructor is Patsy Brightman who is very qualified in teaching yoga and also a registered nurse. Cost is $5 per class. Just drop in.

Stretch and Tone Fitness with Judith Lindstedt begins Sept. 3, and runs for four weeks. Payment and registration in advance is required; $20 for the session. Classes meet on Tuesday mornings at 11 a.m.

Our lunch program is held on Mondays and Wednesdays at noon with meals provided by Montachusett Opportunity Council. Suggested donation is $2.25.

Our homemade meals prepared by kitchen manager, Donna Fenton and her staff will now be held on the first, third and third Thursday of the month at noon. Suggested donation is $3. You must sign up in advance for any of the lunches. Please call 978-597-1710.

The Townsend and Lunenburg Friends of the Seniors are co-hosting a special program with Dan Clark, the singing trooper, on Tuesday, Sept. 10, at 1:30 p.m. (doors open at 1 p.m.). Dan performed in uniform while a 20-year member of the State Police. Cookies and coffee will be served.
