GROTON — Come down to the Prescott School on Saturday, Aug. 31, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. to get your car washed and support an Eagle Scout project.
Jesse King is a Life Scout in Troop 3 Groton whose Eagle Scout service project will be to build and install a wooden information kiosk near the entrance of the Bates-Blackman Land on Old Ayer Road as well as enhance the entrance to the property.
He will begin construction this fall with the help of his fellow scouts. Any extra funds raised will be donated to the Groton Conservation Trust.
