GROTON — The Lawrence Academy Dance program, under the direction of Brian Feigenbaum, has been invited to perform at Scotland’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival for a fourth time.

The school’s previous Fringe performances received critical acclaim: “Fluent, accomplished, dynamic … riveting dramatic tension…” (Christian Science Monitor 2003); “The audience is captivated from the first movement.” (Broadway Baby 2006); and “A sophisticated artistic essence, the skill of which I hadn’t expected.” (Three Weeks 2009).

This year’s dancers invite the public to enjoy their original modern dance theatre production, titled “See Change,” just before they take it to share with an international audience at the Fringe at the beginning of August.

This local performance will be held Saturday, July 27, at 7:30 p.m.

Admission is free, but donations to help defray the cost of this exciting opportunity for these dedicated artists will be welcomed. The performance will take place in the Black Box Dance Studio, located in the Gray Building on the Lawrence Academy campus in Groton, Mass.
