PEPPERELL — Join us at Lawrence Library for a fascinating presentation from Kevin Gardner, author of “The Granite Kiss: Traditions and Techniques of Building New England Stone Walls” on Thursday, May 16, at 6:30 p.m.

Kevin’s informal talk covers the history, technique, stylistic development and aesthetics of New England’s thousands of miles of stone walls. Along the way, Kevin will build a miniature wall on a tabletop, using tiny stones from a 5-gallon bucket.

Free and open to the public. For information, call the library at 978-433-0330, or visit www.lawrencelibrary.org.

This program is supported in part by a grant from the Pepperell Cultural Council, a local agency supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.
