GROTON — The Groton Lions Club will hold its 38th annual Mother’s Day plant sale from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 11, in front of the Prescott School on Main Street. Hanging plants for Mother’s Day, annuals, perennials, vegetables, fertilizer, peat moss, birdseed, herbs and ground cover are among the items that will be on sale. The Lions also will be collecting used eyeglasses to recycle for those in need. Proceeds will benefit the Lions’ scholarship fund.
