Farmers Market prepping for July opening; vendors welcome

SHIRLEY — The Shirley Center Farmers Market is revving up for its second season, which will begin on Thursday, July 11, and will run through Oct. 17. Market hours will be 4-8 p.m. in July and August and 3-7 p.m. (or dusk) in September and October.

This year’s market is really shaping up and promises to be even better than the last. Once again we will be offering local produce, plants and flowers, fresh fish, meat, cheese and eggs, local honey and syrup, delicious baked goods and functional crafts.

Live entertainment is lined up for each week. We’ll kick off the season with Pepperell’s amazing and talented Elizabeth Lorrey.

Food and drink will be available from our food court and tables will be set out in the shade so you can sit a spell and relax.

The SCFM is brought to you by the Center Town Hall Committee along with its promotional partner, The Bull Run Restaurant. All proceeds from the vendor fees go directly to the advertising/marketing for the SCFM and other Center Town Hall events.
