Thank you very much for your support in this election! I look forward to serving on the Planning Board and hearing the concerns of all residents as we focus on tackling Harvard’s planning challenges together.
I would like to thank Chris Ashley for running a good campaign that focused on the issues. I appreciated very much that he called me personally back in March to let me know he had collected signatures to also run for this Planning Board position. I viewed that call as representing the best of serving and living in a small town: We may have different approaches or ideas on the issues and it is worth running for what you believe in. But at the end of the day, we’re still neighbors looking to do what is best for the town as a whole. I applaud his longtime volunteer service to Harvard and wish him all the best in his future endeavors helping our town.
I would like to congratulate Jim Breslauer on his election to the other open seat on the Planning Board. He brings a lot of terrific experience to the board, and I look forward to working with him and the other members of the Planning Board.
Most especially, I want to thank all the folks who wrote letters to the papers, emailed their friends, held coffees, organized volunteers, sported car magnets, contributed to the campaign and helped get people out to the polls! Your enthusiasm and hard work was inspiring and I am truly grateful.
Thank you for your support.
