BOSTON — The Brahmin Restaurant in Boston is the site for a fundraiser for Boston Marathon bombing victims Brittany Loring of Ayer and Heather Abbot.
The May 17 event will be held from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. at the Brahmin Restaurant at 33 Stanhope St., Boston.
Event organizer Gregory Clark says on Facebook (“Fundraiser for Heather Abbot and Brittany Loring”) that while the women are “doing very well,” their “recovery is going to be long and costly.”
“They have a long road ahead of them but with our help and their unbelievable strength, they will be one step closer in their recovery,” said Clark.
There will be a $20 minimum donation requested at the door. The event includes raffle ticket sales with many prizes. Clark is also seeking donations for the raffle — donors should contact Clark at firstname.lastname@example.org.
For those who cannot attend the event, there are online donation addresses for each woman.
