The Senior Center will hold its second annual Cleanup Day on Friday, May 3, at 9 a.m.
Are you ready to begin your spring yard work? Well, so are we! Hopefully with a lot of help, we will be done before noon. As we did last year, we are looking for people to come “rake in hand or otherwise” to help make the front yard of the Senior Center a showplace again.
Last year we cleaned out flower beds, put down mulch and raked stones back into the driveway. We also created a new flower bed. This year, thanks to a generous donation from Pinard Landscaping, we will continue to improve.
Also, if you are into gardening, remember that we will have Cindy Furman, a well known local gardener, talking about getting your beds ready for the summer. She will be at the senior center on Monday, May 13, at 10 a.m. as part of the Senior Information Series. Come, ask questions and learn.
