We will be giving one of our votes for selectman to Don Graham, and urge other residents to get to know him. He will bring a fresh, business-based perspective to our town’s management and strategic direction.
We met Don about a year after he moved to Harvard from Texas. He has a business degree and has enjoyed a successful business career. He selected Harvard as the best place for his wife and three children to live when he was transferred to the Boston area four years ago. He and his wife made a commitment to stay in Harvard several months ago, purchasing a house in town. His three children attend our schools and Don is very active in the Boy Scouts.
Don’s experience as a project manager prepares him perfectly for the job of selectman. He is very familiar with managing large, complex projects in his job, seeking input from all parties and listening to different perspectives. Don would bring an objective, relative newcomers’ viewpoint to our issues. He is a good listener and will work in a collaborative way with the town committees to identify the actions that are consistent with the direction the voters chose at Town Meeting.
We hope you will join us in voting for Don Graham for Harvard Selectman on April 30.
