GROTON — Spring marks the start of the Groton Garden Club’s preparations for its annual plant sale, scheduled for Saturday, May 11, from 8:30 a.m. to noon at Town Hall.
Again this year, the club will feature a selection of plants ideal for shady areas, as well as those that flourish in sunny spots. This year will also feature something new — Tufa planters filled with carefully selected succulents, mini Alpine gardens and woodland gardens — a perfect present for Mother’s Day! The sale is very popular, so be sure to come at opening time. Early birds are invited to wait outside the area until the opening bell at 8:30 a.m.
