TOWNSEND — Spring is here! Time to share your indoor and outdoor plants. Bring them to the common at 10 A.M. and the swap begins! You do not need to bring plants to take a plant, but the more we have to share, the better! It’s a great way to begin your planting.
Earth Day will be held at the Common on Saturday, April 27, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. More than 40 vendors and nonprofit groups will be present. A complete lineup of entertainment may be found at facebook.com/groups/197818396915786.
Bats, Bees, Birds, Bugs and Butterflies will be the theme this April. We will have displays, live creatures and talks about our theme. Booth space (12 feet square) is $25 for for-profit groups and free for nonprofit groups. Email lem6six@verizon.net to verify your interest. Checks can be made out to the Town of Townsend (Board of Health in memo line) by April 13 and mailed to Karen Clement, 101 Main St., Townsend, MA, 01469.
