Ayer Fire Department is accepting applications for the call firefighters. Applicant must be at least 18 years of age, prove residency within the town of Ayer, possess a valid Massachusetts drivers license, be a nontobacco user (MGLc41s101a), and submit to a CORI check. Interested parties may pick up an application package at the fire station, 1 West Main St. Application deadline is April 30 at 4 p.m.
