Ayer S.A.F.E. program benefits from “Taste” tix sold thru Ayer FD


AYER – The Annual Taste of Nashoba Valley, A Culinary Experience, takes place Tuesday, March 19, 2013 from 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Stone Athletic Center at Lawrence Academy in Groton.

Tickets for this fun event are available at the Ayer Fire Station, 1 West Main Street, Ayer. Ticket price is $20.00 in advance with $5.00 from each ticket sold going to support Ayer’s S.A.F.E. (Student Awareness of Fire Education) program.

Tickets are available at the door for $25.00. Tickets sold at the door do not benefit Ayer’s S.A.F.E. program.

Parking is free with free shuttle busses to deliver you to and from your car to the venue.

Sample fare from the region’s restaurants, wineries, breweries, caterers, orchards and food vendors while supporting Ayer’s S.A.F.E. program.

The program runs year-round in cooperation with Ayer’s public schools. Students in kindergarten through Grade 5 are taught age-appropriate lessons in using 9-1-1, Stop, Drop and Roll, Stay Low Under Smoke, bicycle and railroad safety and the dangers of smoking materials. Camp Pete, a one-day summertime mini-muster allows children to practice lessons and role play.
