Groton-Dunstable Festival of One-Act Plays Feb. 8 and Feb. 9

Join the Groton-Dunstable Drama Guild for the fourth annual Festival of One-Act Plays, in which one student from each grade directs a short play, starring actors from their own grade, to compete for a variety of awards.

This year, the class of 2016 presents “Beowulf on a Budget” by Eddie McPherson; the class of 2015 presents “Murder Well” rehearsed by John R. Carroll; the class of 2014 presents “Elvis of Nazareth” by Jay Huling; and the class of 2013 presents “Just As I Wanted” by Rebecca Scholssberg.

Performances will be at the Groton-Dunstable Regional High School Black Box Theater on Friday, Feb. 8, at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 9, at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.
