PEPPERELL — Tracy Darabaris combines her love of nature, and photography, to create her unique view of the outside world. You will often find her walking with camera in hand on one of the many trails near her home in Pepperell. One of her favorite places is Beaver Brook in Hollis, NH.

“The Maple Hill Garden at Beaver Brook has so many beautiful flowers and plants three seasons of the year. It’s even gorgeous in the winter — you just have to look for the beauty. And, there are so many trails to explore. Oftentimes, I just start walking and find photo opportunities that I didn’t expect. I’m constantly amazed at what I find in nature, even in my own yard or the little woods behind my house.”

Tracy and her husband, Tom, both grew up in Georgia, and moved to Pepperell 16 years ago. They have a son and a daughter, who sometimes allow their pictures to be taken.

Join us at the Opening Reception on Saturday, Jan. 5, from noon to 2 p.m., and meet the artist. Light refreshments will be served. The show will run through noon on Jan. 26; it’s sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
