TOWNSEND — The winter parking ban will be in effect in Townsend from Nov. 1, 2012 until April 1, 2013, and will prohibit the parking of motor vehicles on any public way between the hours of 11 p.m. and 7 a.m.
Vehicles in violation will be ticketed by the Police Department, which will carry a $15 fine.
Those vehicles directly hampering snow removal will be ticketed and towed at the expense of the owner.
