DEVENS — In the wake of Hurricane Sandy, the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association has rescheduled the state golf tournaments.
Groton-Dunstable was scheduled to compete in the Division-2 State Tournament at Gannon Municipal Country Club in Lynn today. The Crusaders placed second in last week’s Central Massachusetts qualifier to punch their ticket to the state tournament for just the second time in school history.
The new tee time is Nov. 5, at 9:30 a.m.
The Division 3 State Championship Tournament hosted in Devens at the Redtail Golf Club has been rescheduled for Nov. 5 at 10 a.m. The Bromfield Trojans will participate in the Division 3 state tournament after capturing the district title this past week.
Both Division 2 and Division 3 state tournaments will feature a shotgun start, meaning all golfers will start at the same hole and finish at the same time.
