Harvard Pro Musica is pleased to announce that Lauren Kuong, a senior at Bromfield, has joined the chorus this fall as an intern. Lauren has chosen to do her Senior Service Project with Harvard Pro Musica and will sing in the two concerts planned by HPM this year as well as act as the liaison between HPM and Bromfield Chorus. Using her artistic skills, she will help with publicity for HPM by designing covers for the concert programs, posters, tickets and brochures. Harvard Pro Musica is delighted to have her join the chorus and hopes that with her example, other Bromfield students will join HPM as well.

The first Harvard Pro Musica concert of the 2012-2013 season will be on Dec. 1 at 7:30 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Church at the top of Harvard Common. Directed by Dr. Mark Bennett and accompanied by pianist Susan Minor, HPM will present a program of a cappella music from the Renaissance and will conclude the program with Benjamin Britten’s “A Ceremony Of Carols for Harp, Soloists and Mixed Chorus.” Tickets for this concert will be available in November.
