The Townsend Senior Center is hosting “Great Scot! It’s Andrew Carnegie,” on Monday, Nov. 5, at 1 p.m. The program will be in the Meeting Hall, 16 Dudley Road, Townsend, just off Route 13. It is free of charge and open to adults of all ages in Townsend as well as all the surrounding towns.
Actor Richard Clark will portray Andrew Carnegie, a man of contradictions, who rose from humble beginnings to become the “King of Steel” and the richest man in the world. Clark is an actor with over 30 years of experience in New England regional theater, New York Theater and television. His “Keeping History Alive” series brings historical figures such as Andrew Carnegie back to life.
