Explore the world of one of our largest local residents, the black bear!
Join Nashua River Watershed Association naturalists for “A Bear Affair” on Saturday, Nov. 17, from 1-2:30 p.m., in Groton.
We’ll look for bear clues in the woods and learn all about bears and their amazing adaptations using skins, skulls and tracks. We’ll share a “beary” snack and you’ll make your very own bear track to take home. Teddy bears welcome!
This program is appropriate for ages 4 to 10 years and their families; backpack babies welcome!
Fee: NRWA members, $6/person or $18/family; nonmembers $8/person or $24/family.
Pre-registration is required.
Directions to program location will be provided upon registration. To register, please contact Mary Marro, NRWA environmental education director, at 978-448-0299 or email MaryM@NashuaRiverWatershed.org.
