Children’s Programs
Lego Club – Ages 5 and up: Saturday, Sept. 22 from 1:30-3 p.m. Come have fun building Lego creations with other Harvard Lego fans! Parents are encouraged to join in the fun & assist with supervision. Please see the Children’s Librarian for more information and to pre-register.
Book Gobblers – Grades 1 through 5: Wednesday, Sept. 26 at 1:30 p.m. Book Gobblers is the library’s story program for older kids only – younger children not allowed! Come listen to selections from excellent chapter books, poetry by favorite poets, and explore longer picture books for older readers. Drop-in ~ come for the whole half hour, or stay for just one or two stories.
Family Movie Night! Movie is Rated PG – All Ages: Friday, Oct. 12 at 6:30 p.m. We can’t list the movie title here, due to licensing restrictions, but here is a hint: This recent movie is based upon a book by Dr. Seuss, featuring an environmentally responsible character with the voice of Danny Devito. Popcorn and water will be served. Please pre-register, so we know how much popcorn to buy!
Bagels n’ Books Group for 3rd Graders: One Tuesday a month, October through May, from 4 -4:45 p.m.

Join this once-monthly book group for a lively book discussion and a yummy afternoon snack of bagels and cream cheese. Book group members should read all of the book prior to the group meeting. October meeting dates and book titles to be announced; sign up for a book group, and we will request for you a copy of the book we will be discussing. New members are welcome ~ spaces are limited for some groups. Please call the Children’s Room for more information and to pre-register.

Adult Programs
The Brown Bag Book Club is held the third Wednesday of every month at noon. Drop-ins are welcome! The next meeting will be held on Sept.19 in the Small Conference Room to discuss the following book: “Wild Swans: Three Daughters of China,” by Jung Chang.
