Building the Future for Shirley and Ayer will host a fundraiser, “The Time is Now,” on Saturday, Sept. 15, from 7:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. at The Billiards Café, 39 Main St., in Ayer.

A suggested donation of $10 per person (in advance or at the door) will include live music from the Yard Sale Rejects, a locally inspired silent auction, 50-50 raffle, and a chance to bid and win tickets to the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots.

“All proceeds from this event will be used to support our efforts in creating awareness about promoting excellence in our schools, towns, and the ASRSD school building project,” said BFSA member, Kevin Bresnahan, and one of the lead organizers of this event. “We hope this fun-filled evening will serve as a launching pad to build a network of supporters and volunteers to help us spread the word about how important the high school building project is to the future of our two towns.”
