SHIRLEY — The brand-new Shirley Center Farmers Market (SCFM) is open for business every Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m. on the Center Common until Oct 11.
A variety of vendors will be on hand each week, including the best in local produce from Spring Dell Farm and Bolton Orchards, fresh seafood from Twin’s Seafood, local meats from Lyn-Dell Farm, honey products from Pepperell’s Nissittisit Apiaries, beautiful plants and herb gardens from Groton Nursery and baked goods from Bliss Bakery, Golden Girl Granola and Grovehouse Bakery.
Crafters’ tables include unique pottery, hand-crafted wooden cutting boards, hand-made greeting cards by the Girl Scouts, and a variety of useful items made from recycled fabrics.
The Bull Run Restaurant, Main Street Café, Twin’s Seafood, and the Boy Scout Hot Dog Stand serve food and cold drinks so you can sit at a table in the shade and enjoy the live entertainment on the Center Stage.
New vendors sign up throughout the season.
