As a native New Englander and resident of Groton, Robert Bicknell has had a lifelong love of both photography and the outdoors. His photography is on display at Nashoba Brook Bakery Café and Gallery in West Concord from July 1 through Aug. 31. His work strives to capture images of the ever changing beauty that surrounds us. Bob blends the best of traditional film and digital photography. Earlier images were captured on 35mm transparency film and transferred by high-resolution scans to digital files. More recently, Bob has been capturing images using a pro-level DSLR. From these images, he then produces beautiful archival quality photographs and note cards. Mountain sunrises, flowers with raindrops, and old New England churches are some of his favorite subjects.

Bob is an active member of the Nashoba Valley Photo Club in Westford where he is a past vice resident, Bedford Center for the Arts photography group in Bedford and the Manchester Artists Association in Manchester, N.H. He exhibits and sells his work at several art shows throughout New England. In addition, Bob’s work is regularly on display and available for sale in several area gift shops, galleries, and restaurants. Examples of his work can be also seen at his website:.
