PEPPERELL — Bands and sponsors are lined up for the 2012 Pepperell Business Assication Summer Music Series.

The kick-off, scheduled for Tuesday, July 10, will feature a performance local classic rock group Eastwood Peak and volunteers from the Pepperell Woman’s Club will be sponsoring the event. The free concert kicks off at 6:30 p.m. and ice cream will be served.

Performances are put on at the bandstand on the Pepperell Town Field. Shows will be held every following Tuesday until Aug. 14.

“I am really excited to kick these off, we’re looking forward to another great year,” said PBA Officer and event coordinator Alan St. Croix.

Other sponsors include the Colonel Prescott Statue Committee, on July 17, Destination Imagination, Aug 7, and the Nissitissit Patent Teacher Support Group, Aug. 14.

Music ranges from week to week, featuring rock, pop, big band, doo-wop and more. Concerts run until 8:30 p.m.

Rained-out concerts will be held on the following night, rain dates on Wednesday mean the concert is canceled.
