Saturday night dance to benefit Ayer’s Fourth of July Celebration

Nashoba Publishing/Mary Arata
Getting in the spirit of the Fourth of July are Ayer selectman Jim Fay, Town Administrator Robert Pontbriand, Treasurer Stephanie Gintner, Assistant Town Clerk Lauri Fritz, and Economic Development Director David Maher. They piled into Fay’s car to promote this Saturday night’s dance to benefit the town’s annual Independence Day celebration.

AYER – Get ready to boogie.

This Saturday night, May 5, grab your friends and head to the Ayer Gun and Sportsman Club on Snake Hill Road. It’s going to be a night of dancing and fun at the “Baby Boomers’ MLC* Dance.”

*MLC is short for ‘Mid Life Crisis,’ dontchaknow?

DJ Chris will be spinning non-stop music from 7 to 11 p.m., including hits from the 60s, 70s, and 80s, along with current artists, line dancing and contests.

Funds raised benefit the Ayer Fourth of July Celebration. Tickets can be purchased for $10 each in advance at the selectmen’s office at Ayer Town Hall, 1 Main Street, or for $15 each at the door on the night of the dance.

Call David Maher at 978-772-8206 for details.
