Help support Ayer’s Student Awareness of Fire Education (S.A.F.E.) program simply by purchasing your Taste of Nashoba Valley tickets at the Ayer Fire Station, 1 West Main Street.

The Ayer firefighters work together with the staff at Page-Hilltop Elementary school to educate our younger citizens about using 9-1-1, what to do in an emergency, how to stay safe and the dangers of smoking materials. Five dollars of every “Taste” ticket sold at the Ayer Fire Department is contributed to Ayer’s S.A.F.E. program, helping to insure the continuation of this successful, life-saving program.

The 11th annual Taste of Nashoba Valley takes place on Tuesday, March 20, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Lawrence Academy Stone Athletic Center, Groton. Sample delicious food and drink including apple cider, offered by many local “restaurants, caterers, gourmet and ethnic markets, wineries, brew houses and local purveyors of fine liquors” then vote for your favorite. Advance tickets are $20 or $25 at the door and are available anytime at the Ayer Fire Station.

Sponsored by the Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with SpringHill Suites by Marriott and Devens Common Center.
