The Merrimack Valley Artisans are seeking local artists and fine craftspeople, who are devoted to their art and who, as members, will be committed to our organization and its mission.
Are you looking for a supportive and diversified group of artists – the Merrimack Valley Artisans is a group comprised of approximately 24 local artists and fine craftspeople. We meet monthly, in Dunstable, to discuss topical issues and concerns common to all of us in our artistic endeavors. We also bring in, over the course of the year, a handful of interesting and informative artistic guest speakers to enlighten, inform, and ignite the group membership’s creative juices.
Are you willing to give of your time and talents – the Merrimack Valley Artisans organize a 2-Day Annual Show, in Chelmsford during the third week of October, of juried members work. We all do our part in working different aspects to make this show happen.
The Merrimack Valley Artisans supports local high school students pursuing an arts education at the college level by granting scholarships and cash awards. The entrance fee to our show is a fundraiser and makes these awards possible.
Members also hold presentations in local schools and in the community to educate the public about the arts.

Jury applications are being accepted for 2012 until April 30th. We are especially looking for artists and craftspeople in pottery, glass – stained and/or fused, photography, weaving, wood and basketry.
