AYER — Robert Malcolm, 17, of Ayer, was arraigned at 4:50 p.m. today on attempted robbery.
The Middlesex District Attorney said in Ayer District Court that the robbery caused Corey Buxton, 15, of Shirley, to jump into the street where he was struck by two cars. He was pronounced dead at Nashoba Valley Medical Center Wednesday night.
