REGION — Former Bromfield star Henley Siegrist, of Harvard, became one of only 14 players in the history of the Franklin & Marshall women’s soccer team to be named to the Centennial Conference Women’s first all-star team.

Siegrist, a senior defender, keyed a stingy Diplomats defense that allowed only 1.03 goals per game, including eight shutouts.

Franklin & Marshall enjoyed a solid 2011 season, qualifying for the Centennial Conference Tournament and finishing with an overall record of 8-7-1.

Siegrist recently finished off a sensational career that saw her play in 60 games over a four-year period, including 58 starts.

While at Bromfield, Henley anchored the defense for a strong Lady Trojans team. She was a member of the varsity for five seasons, including four as a starter, and earned a pair of Central Massachusetts All-Star berths and an all-state selection. She was also a member of the Lady Trojans’ team that advanced to the Massachusetts Division 3 championship game.

Henley is the daughter of Heidi and Don Siegrist.
