The last day to see the Kim Komperda art display at the Shirley Historical Society Museum will be Saturday, Sept. 3. These colorful pictures show people and places around Shirley, from the ball field and an old boarding house to a grape arbor and a Dumpster.

Samples of his work can be seen on Kim’s Facebook page and on the museum’s facebook page. If you are on Facebook, just look for Shirley Historical Society. Some pieces in the collection have already been sold, but several are still available, with a portion of the proceeds going to the Historical Society.

The museum is open Mondays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and other times by appointment or by chance.
