AYER — Anita M. (Beach) Taylor, 48, of Ayer, died Thursday, April 28, 2011, at the Nashoba Valley Medical Center, Ayer, after a lengthy illness.

Anita was born in Honolulu, on Nov. 13, 1962, a daughter of Clifford and Jean M. (Graham) Beach and resided much of her life in Ayer. She was a graduate of Ayer High School and continued her education at the University of Lowell, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical drafting.

She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Timothy S. Taylor; a daughter, Caelan J.L. Taylor, of Ayer; a son, Mitchell S.A. Taylor, of Ayer and a brother, Timothy Beach, also of Ayer.

She was predeceased by a sister, Deborah Woodcome, of Pepperell.

For the past two years, Anita worked as a mechanical drafter at Shanklin Manufacturing in Ayer. Prior to that, she worked at Honeywell Corp. in Acton.

She had been active in the both the Girl and Boy Scout programs in Ayer and also as a T-Ball coach in the Ayer Recreation Program. She participated in the Monday Night Pool League at the Billiards Café in Ayer and had acquired a black belt in karate.

Anita’s family received family and friends on Sunday, May 1, at the T.J. Anderson & Son Funeral Home, 25 Fitchburg Road (Route 2A), Ayer.

Funeral services and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
