Music: The band Since January will perform live at the Pepperell Music Center from 8 to 10 p.m. They will also be selling their new CD at this show. Doors open at 7:30 and there is a $5 charge.
Band at K of C: Please join us from 8 to 11 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus for a classic rock band, “The Ghost Dinner Band.” There will also be a great raffle so don’t forget to get your tickets for this week’s raffle.

2011 Schedule for Annual Town Elections and Annual Town Meeting
The schedule for the 2011 Annual Town Election and Town Meeting will be as follows:
Nomination papers may be taken out for the offices open for election. Any registered voter (except Registrars of Voters) may take out nomination papers. The nomination papers can be obtained at the Town Clerk’s Office.
* Assessors – One 3-year term
* Board of Health – One 3-year term
* Housing Authority – One 5-year term
* Library Trustee – Two positions, 3-year terms
* Moderator – One 3-year term
* NMRSD School Committee – Three At-Large 3-year terms
* Planning Board – One 5-year term
* Board of Public Works – One 3-year term
* Board of Selectmen – One 3-year term
* Recreation Commission – One 3-year term
March 7, 5 p.m.: The last day to submit nomination papers to the Board of Registrars for certification.
March 21, 5 p.m.: Certified nomination papers must be filed with the Town Clerk.
April 5: The last day to register to vote in the Town Election. The Clerk’s office will be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
April 15: The last day to post the warrant for the Annual Town Election.
April 25: Annual Town Election. Polls open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Varnum Brook gymnasium.
Annual Town Meeting:
April 5, The last day to register to vote at the Town Meeting. The Clerk’s office will be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
April 15, The last day to post the warrant for the Annual Town Meeting.

Project Graduation fundraiser
Bailey’s Bar and Grille, 18 Main St., Townsend, will host a fundraiser for NMRHS’s Project Graduation on Tuesday, March 1, from 5 to 10 p.m. All food and beverage (bar area included) sales, including take-out, will count towards the 10 percent contribution to Project Graduation.
Come enjoy an evening out with your family or friends! It would be a pleasure to see former NMRHS students. Class of 2006, why not come celebrate five years out of NM with us?
Project Graduation will be holding its monthly meeting at Bailey’s at 6:30 p.m. that evening.
PG is an all-night substance free party held free of charge for the graduates, the evening of graduation. This group has depended on the community and businesses in order to fund the activities that take place, since its inception in 2004.
Antique appraisal night
Antique appraisal night at the Dunstable Public Library Saturday, March 5, at 6:30 p.m.
The Friends of the Library along with the Tyngsborough /Dunstable Historical Society will be hosting an antique appraisal night. Local appraisers Bob Fennochetti and Bud Tully will be doing the verbal appraisals.
Guests may bring two items for appraising. If you have an item too large to bring, a picture and some pertinent information about it will do. This is a FREE event but you must register before hand at 978-649-7830 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Space is limited.
2nd Annual Community
Pasta Supper March 27
The Girl Scout Troop 34017 will host our 2nd annual community pasta supper on Sunday, March 27, from 1 to 4 p.m. at Varnum Brook Elementary School, 10 Hollis St. Seniors and Children under 12 years are $4; other adults are $5.
Come and bring your family and friends for a full supper of salad, rolls, pasta (ziti), meatballs and dessert! There will also be a raffles with $1 per ticket and $5 for 6 tickets, plus Girl Scout cookies.
