I would like to thank the voters of the Middlesex & Worcester District for their strong support in my successful re-election as your State Senator on Tuesday, Nov. 2. As I said on Election Night, I absolutely love being State Senator, and wake up every morning eager to get to work, change public policy, and help people. I am humbled by the strong support I received yet again this year and commend my opponent, George Thompson, for making the decision to run.
With a great amount of work already to do, I invite residents to contact me about ideas for legislation or changes in state government to improve the quality of life for the people of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts at James.Eldridge@state.ma.us, or by visiting www.SenatorEldridge.com. In addition, I will be scheduling public meetings across the district to give voters an opportunity to weigh in with their priorities before the next legislative session begins.
Finally, I want to thank my campaign staff, volunteers, endorsing organizations, and municipal officials who worked so hard for me during this election season. I am extremely proud of the grass-roots campaign that we ran and believe that I am a better Senator because of it.
