Raymond Joseph Sestini, 83, of Holliston, passed away Monday, Nov. 8, 2010, at the Metrowest Medical Center in Framingham.

Born in Lawrence, he was the son of the late Oswald and Jennie (Araidi) Sestini.

He was the husband of Evelyn (Bowmar) Sestini of Holliston.

A Navy Air Corps veteran of five years, he served in World War II and Korea. He was the communications supervisor with the Massachusetts State Police and enjoyed his family which meant everything to him.

Besides his wife of 54 years, Raymond is survived by two daughters, Karen Spurling and her husband Robert of Natick, and Judy Maisch of Taunton.

He also leaves behind five grandchildren, Elaine, Kenneth, Matthew, Marielle and Michael as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is predeceased by his sister, Colleen Clark.

Visitation was held on Friday, Nov. 12 at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. A 4:30 p.m. service took place in the funeral home following visitation.
