GROTON — A few openings remain for SKATEWORKS, a learn-to skate program for tots through teens, which begins on Saturday morning, Nov. 13.

SKATEWORKS is under the auspices of the US Figure Skating Association and includes small-group instruction for all levels of ability by an experienced professional staff. Each skater is fully insured by the USFSA.

On March 5, 13 weeks of instruction and supervised practice time will culminate in a choreographed costumed ice review with all students participating. At the initial class. each skater’s ability is assessed. Participants must provide their own skates and safety helmets.

Groton Center for the Arts has been sponsoring SKATEWORKS for more than 30 years at the Groton School Ice Arena. For more detailed information and registration form, go to www.grotoncenterfortheart.org or call 978-448-3001.
