On Tuesday, Nov. 16, Channel 8 (Shirley TV) will hold free studio workshops at the Shirley Public Access studio in the Ayer-Shirley Middle School on Hospital Road. The workshop will be of interest to anyone who has ever wondered how a television show was created. Topics covered will include using a camera, shot composition, audio, use of audio mixers and video switchers, and more. The Shirley Public Access studio is a small, intimate setting with equipment that can be mastered easily. These workshops will be especially valuable to any resident thinking about creating or participating in a studio-based television show. The workshops will start at 7 p.m. and will run until 9 p.m.

To sign up for one or both workshops, contact Lou Carreras at lou@shirleytv.org or call Lou at 978-466-8631.
