Townsend school to hold Destination Imagination camp

TOWNSEND — On Tuesday, Oct. 19, from 6:30-8 p.m. at Hawthorne Brook Middle School, there will be Destination Imagination Camp. The cost is $10 per child.

This is a fun, unique opportunity for children in grades 3-8 to learn team-building, engineering and problem-solving. Kids will participate in three activities in an adult-supervised, team environment. They will use their creative skills to build things, solve problems, create skits and think outside the box. Learn skills that can help with presentations and school projects. Age-appropriate groups will be involved in three hands-on activities.

* Build with LEDs

* Participate in an egg toss
