As a longtime resident of Groton, I’m writing today in support of Sheila Harrington for state representative of the First Middlesex District.
As a political outsider she will bring fresh ideas to Beacon Hill and as a proven leader, I feel that she is the right person for this job.
I have known Sheila for 25 years. She is a small business owner, volunteer and parent who has raised both of her children in Groton. She knows the values and the struggles of those who live in the district.
Sheila is a person of impeccable integrity who will do anything for her clients, constituents, staff, friends and family. I am impressed with her intellect, passion to serve and dedication to community.
I also admire Sheila for offering her time without a fee to seniors in regard to legal advice and counseling.
She has always put her leadership skills to good work by serving on many local boards, such as The Lowell Wish Project, Groton Center for the Arts, Deaconess-Nashoba Hospital, Groton Road Race and many more.
In addition, her 23 years in private law practice have given her the kind of wide-ranging experience that makes her well-qualified to tackle the difficult problems she will confront in the legislature.
We face a myriad of challenges in our state, none of which is easily fixed. Sheila sees these as a tremendous challenge and opportunity to make a positive difference. She is interested in serving the residents of the First Middlesex District and I feel that she is the best person for this job.
