LEOMINSTER — “The Work of 1000” Documentary Film, Doyle Conservation Center, 464 Abbott Ave., Leominster, will be shown Thursday, Oct. 28, from 6 to 8 p.m. Please join us for an inspiring evening about the local environmental visionary and citizen activist, Marion Stoddart, who spearheaded the work of turning the Nashua River from one of the most polluted rivers in American into a clean, healthy river. Refreshments will be available at 6 p.m. and the film begins at 6:30. This event is sponsored by the North County Land Trust for our annual meeting and is funded by our sponsor: Can-Am Machinery, Inc. of Fitchburg. Admission is free.
