HARVARD — The Bromfield School Council is seeking two community members to join the council. Community members are citizens of Harvard who do not teach at, or have children attending, Bromfield.

The role of the School Council is to:

1. Adopt educational goals for the school that are consistent with local educational policies and statewide student performance standards;

2. Identify the educational needs of students;

3. Review the annual school budget;

4. Formulate an annual school-improvement plan. The council meets once or twice a month Tuesday afternoons at 3 p.m.

If you are interested in learning more or being a community member, contact Principal Jim O’Shea at joshea@psharvard.org or 978-456-4152.
