Massachusetts had always been my home. It has made me proud knowing that it has always received world wide recognition for its excellence in educational opportunities, its world class health facilities, as well as for its historical sights and beauty, During these difficult times, I worry about the Massachusetts that my children and grandchildren will call home. I think it is time that politicians listen to the voice of the public who seek solutions, who cry out for jobs, who want quality education to continue and to make Massachusetts someplace we are all proud to call home.
Sheila Harrington has spent her entire career listening to those in need and now wants to work to meet the needs of our state. As our state representative in the First Middlesex District, she will work collaboratively with others on Beacon Hill to make a difference. As a mother, she knew the value of a quality education for her children and will work hard to insure that it remains a priority for Massachusetts. She also recognizes the need to entice big business to stay here, and to encourage new companies to develop here as well, thus providing opportunities for the employment we desperately need. Sheila recognizes that the task will not be an easy one and that is will be necessary to work with others who may not always share her views. Her experience as a negotiator and mediator, in her current law firm duties, will serve us well in helping to bring about change. Sheila is a highly educated woman who has the ability to provide a strong voice and bring about these changes.
